Liquor Store During The Pandemic

What We Are Doing To Help Stop The Spread Of Covid-19

During this anything but normal time, we here at Kane's are adapting to the new way of doing business.

Ok lets be honest for a minute, never did I think that there would be a global pandemic going on and that I would be an owner of an essential business during this time. From the moment this started happening I have been a rollercoaster of emotions, like most people. At first, I had a very hard time understanding why a liquor store would be considered essential when all other businesses had to lockdown until further notice. After a couple weeks into this Pandemic, I still am anxious not going to  lie, but we having taken new precautions to help the best way we can stop the spread. So here is what our new normal at Kane's looks like until further notice.

1. Yes we are open with limited hours!
 Monday-Saturday 12-7pm and Sunday 12-4pm

2. We encourage curbside pickup!!
This means that you can call ahead place an order, pay over the phone and then we will bring it out to the trunk of your car when you get here!

Ps. we will also deliver! However because we have limited staff most deliveries are made after the store closes at 7pm.

3. Bag and scan your own bottles
We have set up a table next to the register so that you can if you would like, bag your own bottles. We have also moved the scanner so that we do not have to touch the bottle, you can scan your own.

4. 6 FEET APART
We have spaced out 6 feet between customers in line for the register. We have placed bright purple tape on the floor so people aren't lined up next to each other.

5. Employee wears a clean mask everyday as well as fresh gloves

6. Cleaning and washing out hands!!!!
We are cleaning constantly! We want to reinsure our customers that we are doing everything we can to help stop the spread. We have lysol wipes to clean after every customer, and we have placed a hand sanitizer pump at the register for customer use.

On a less serious note...Thank God liquor stores are essential!!! I don't know about you but having our wine during this time has helped in more ways than we can count! Lol

Back to being serious....we want to thank everyone for there support during this time! It means the world to us! From people just calling to see how we are doing, to people donating masks for us to wear while at work, and a huge thank you to all the local distilleries who are now creating hand sanitizes and have donated some to us. THANK YOU THANK YOU!  It is so important to shop local and small business! These are the places that make up our small communities that we love so much!
